The national space legislation in its codified concept in the United Arab Emirates until 2019 was limited to the provisions of Federal Decree Law No.

(1) of 2014 regarding the establishment of the UAE Space Agency in addition to the United Nations treaties related to outer space that the UAE joined and issued nationally.

A study should be conducted that highlights the adequacy of the general provisions in the Federal Criminal Procedure Law related to the procedures of inference and investigation in facing crimes related to outer space, especially since the outer space law has not yet been realized.

The study relied on the application of crime investigation process, gathering evidence and investigation of crimes that arise from practicing outer space activities, and examining the possibility of their application to this new type of crime.
