The comparative lexicon is one of the linguistic dictionaries that help to understand the language and the development of its words, especially if this lexicon deals with the words of the Holy Qur'an, and to find out their roots in the Semitic languages, the sister language of the Arabic language.

In this dictionary we will try toThe linguistic roots of the words of the Noble Qur'an, compared to other Levantine languages, with a mention of the number of times they appear in the Noble Qur'an, morphological weight, and different meanings, then a comparative study of the Qur'anic term with its counterparts in Levantine languages.
