Abstract EN
The objective of this article is to analyse the perceptions of the population and development actors on various aspects related to the local development in Tunisia, based on results gained from a field study.
The first part of the paper will provide a general presentation of the study and its objectives.
In the second part, the interest will be focused on the perception of the population and the actors about the issue of local development, local inequality, repercussions of unequal local development, planning and finally decentralisation and some aspects of local governance.

L’objectif de l’article est l’analyse des perceptions de la population et des acteurs de développement sur divers aspects relatifs au développement local en Tunisie, et ce grâce aux résultats d’une enquête.
La première partie portera sur une présentation générale de cette enquête et de ses objectifs.
Dans la seconde partie, l’intérêt sera focalisé sur la perception de la population et des acteurs au sujet du développement local, de l’inégalité locale, des répercussions de l’inégal développement local, de la planification, et enfin de la décentralisation et quelques aspects de la gouvernance locale.
