Abstract EN

The study aims to determine the degree of practicing listening lessons in the Arabic language curriculum among Arabic language teachers for the elementary level in the city of Nablus.To answer the question of the study, the study employs the descriptive approach.

The study was conducted on a stratified random sample consisting of (163) male and female teachers of the Arabic language in the elementary level in Nablus governorate.

This was conducted through the second semester of the year (2018-2019).The researcher, hence, conducted the questionnaire to measure the level of practicing listening lessons within the Arabic teachers of the elementary level.

The authenticity of the two questionnaires has been attested by two legally competent.

The questionnaires’ internal consistency has been calculated using the Cronbach Alpha formula.

Accordingly, the internal consistency of “The Degree of Practicing Listening Lessons Questionnaire” reached (0.90).

The study reached the results that the degree of practicing listening lessons by Arabic language teachers is (%83),.

The results, hence, depict that there is no variation of the degree of practicing listening lesson based on sex, academic qualifications and specialization.The researcher recommends to direct the results of the study to the officials in the Ministry of Education in Palestine to benefit from them in promoting the practice of linguistic skills by Arabic teachers.
