The Algerian University’s reality and mechanisms of scientific research promotion in light of the knowledge economy Dr Hind Aloui professor at abd el hamid mehri university scientific research in the light of the knowledge economy in Algeria, as education and knowledge have become indispensable in all areas of life.

The most critical phase of scientific research promotion is funding and support.

Which are borderline inexistant in the Algerian University despite the importance of the scientific research in the global economy.

We hope to uncover, through this paper, the restrictions that prevent the university from carrying its mission in adapting the scientific research to serve the development of the economy and society were discussed.
