Abstract EN

The University Library of Tubingen preserved an undated pictorial part of the One thousand and one Nights manuscript.

Attention is drawn to the precence of writings added to the beginning of the manuscript indicating that someone had rented it in accordance with a Full-Fledged contract.

This study focuses on the analysis of these writings which give us important information about the political, economic and cultural conditions in the era of its writer.

In addition, it also gives an idea of the value of the pictorial manuscript in that period and the extent of people's interest in it.

The study also aims to identify the Artistic school to which this manuscript belongs.
