The article is an exploration, in the short and medium term, of the history of political and social struggles in 20th century Algeria.
It is an obligatory and a necessary investigation in order to better apprehend the complexity of the hirak of February 22nd, 2019.
A landmark and a historical moment, undoubtedly a major one in the history of contemporary Algeria, the hirak of 2019 by its extent, vitality and anchorage in the national seeks, this time, to put an end to an “internal domination”.
Also, as in the country past, words, spaces, actors and repertoires of action inform and explain both the reality and the importance of the relationship between the emancipation process and the aspirations for citizenship.
They also give an account of the fundamental changes in society since 1962, particularly at the anthropological and cultural levels.

La contribution porte sur une exploration, dans le temps court et moyen, dans l’histoire des luttes politiques et sociales de l’Algérie du 20è siècle.
C’est une investigation obligée et nécessaire afin de mieux appréhender la complexité du hirak du 22 février 2019.
Marqueur et moment historique, sans doute majeurs dans l’histoire de l’Algérie contemporaine, le hirak de 2019, par son ampleur, vitalité et ancrage dans le national, cherche, cette fois, à en finir avec une « domination intérieure ».
Aussi et comme dans le passé du pays, les mots, les espaces, les acteurs, les répertoires d’action renseignent et expliquent à la fois la réalité et l’importance de la relation entre le processus d’émancipation et les aspirations à la citoyenneté.
Ils rendent compte également sur les mutations fondamentales de la société depuis 1962, notamment sur les plans anthropologique et culturel.
