This research aims to identify the effectiveness of designing an e-learning environment based on self-organized learning to develop computer skills among middle school students in Muhayil Governorate.

To achieve this objective, the researcher used the quasi-experimental approach.

The researcher designed the content of the computer components in the self-organized e-learning environment taking into consideration the criteria of designing the self-organized e-learning environment to develop the academic achievement and skill performance of students that were derived from many of the literature previously studied in the first semester of the research.

The research sample of the basic experiment consisted of (20) fifty students in middle school Muhayil governorate where groups of the research consisted of two groups.

The first group was (control group) which used the traditional teaching approach and the second group was (experimental group) which used the self-organized e-learning environment.

The current research tools consisted of an achievement test and a student skills notes card prepared by the researcher and verified its validity and reliability.

The results of the research revealed that the effectiveness of e-learning environment based on self-organized learning on the academic achievement and skill performance of computer components and accessories, is due to the fact that the environment took into account the characteristics of learners and their individual needs in self-organized learning according to the special learning strategy used in the current research.
