The study aimed, to find out the criminal responsibility for violating the rules of international humanitarian law and the extent of protecting human life; and dignity from acts of external; and internal violence, given that violating some of the rules of international humanitarian law.

Constitutes an international crime, or is one of the grave violations stipulated in the Geneva Conventions; and the first additional protocol, and clarification the rules of international humanitarian law, in particular, in the event of a violation of this obligation, and the responsibility of states in the event of a violation of their international obligations towards another state.

The researcher relied on the analytical method in order to analyze the texts of international humanitarian law agreements regarding violations of some rules of international humanitarian law, which constitutes an international crime or is considered one of the grave violations stipulated in the Geneva Conventions; and Additional Protocol I
