On Tuesday, March 12th, 2019 around noon, students hung hundreds of postits on the walls of Maurice Audin Square in central Algiers.
On April 16th and 23rd, the operation is repeated at the exit of the Tafourah metro station, near the Grande Post office.
This article proposes an analysis of the use of languages in the writing of these messages.
To do so, the post-it notes have been photographed and those that fell on the ground have been recovered.
They have then been indexed in databases.
In which language(s) are they written? Is the Algerian darija (spoken dialect) written more in Arabic or Latin alphabet? Is there a correlation between the covered theme and the language used? This paper aims to provide answers to these initial questions by analysing this original method of action and claiming which then spread throughout the Algerian territory and the diaspora (messages have been written on post-it notes in Djelfa, Constantine, Paris, etc.).

Le mardi 12 mars 2019, aux environs de midi, des étudiants accrochent des centaines de post-it sur les murs de la place Maurice Audin, à Alger centre.
Le 16 et le 23 avril l’opération est réitérée à la sortie d’une bouche du métro Tafourah, près de la Grande Poste.
Cette contribution propose d’analyser les usages des langues dans la rédaction de ces messages.
Pour ce faire, les post-it accrochés ont été photographiés.
Ceux qui tombaient sur le sol ont été récupérés.
Ils ont ensuite été répertoriés sur des bases de données.
En quelles langues écrit-on ? Écrit-on la derdja algérienne davantage en alphabet arabe ou latin ? Observe-t-on une corrélation entre le thème abordé et la langue employée ? Cette contribution apporte des premières réponses à ces questions en analysant ce mode d’action et de revendication original qui s’est ensuite diffusé à travers le territoire algérien et la diaspora (des messages ont été écrits sur des post-it à Djelfa, Constantine, Paris, etc.).
