The researchers introduce their theme by expressing the importance of proverbs in spreading the national concepts among the masses, in addition to depicting the civilization and philosophy of their people.

For an example, the researchers show how the Palestinian proverbs explained the attributes and customs and traditions of the Palestinian people.

In this connection, the researchers give a special distinguished position to the Palestinian Bedouin environment.

Following that, the researchers describe their method in collecting and discussing the Palestinian Bedouin proverbs pointing out, among various proverbial values, the following ones: religious, moral, psychological and socio-economic with relevant proverbs in each case.

Finally, the researchers conclude by calling folklore researchers to exert more efforts in the collection and study of Bedouin folklore
