This paper aims at investigation of the manufacturing sector in Saudi Arabia and its influence on Saudi economy.
the first section discusses industrial strategy and the structure of manufacturing sector and the most important industries that has an important role in the economy, whether in absorbing the workers or in production and exporting like chemicals, steel & iron, papers & printing..
etc.
while the second section concerned in applying the cobb-Douglas function on this sector from 70th of this century till 1998 using the statistical method.
