Abstract EN

One of the important means that is used by the poet's is artistic image.

The poets, in their poetry, rely on using artistic image since through using symbolic and short words they can convey broad meanings and express/expose their feelings and emotions.

Moreover, these artistic images are considered influential to draw attention of the readership.

This paper discusses artistic image and it's significance in enriching the experience of the poet "Aisha Al-Taimuria".

The successful use of artistic image by Aisha Al-Taimuria made her to be talented and distinguished and to be a pioneer in Arabic literature; that is after a fall in Arabic literature and more specifically after a poet like "Khansa".

Furthermore, this paper deals with three types of artistic images used by Aisha Al-Taimuria namely rhetorical image, symbolic image and the image that relies on senses and emotions.

Thus, the use of different images by the poet exposes the fact that she is olutely capable and influential in using these images to express her feelings and emotions and consequently affect the readers through beautiful and effective images.
