The history of Islam is rich in prominent personalities who have played a major role in the industry of the glory of the Islamic Ummah.

It is worth searching the corners of their political, social and administrative life from the biography of the Prophet Muhammad and through the biography of his companions and ending with those heroes who opened many countries And spread Islam, especially in the paradise of the lost Ar(promised) Andalusia, which was distinguished by heroic leaders who made precious and generous and were ready to take their lives in order to spread Islam and preserve its unity.

Among these personalities was an important figure who had a great role in the history of the Sultanate of Granada.

It was a character of Sanadin ibn al-Khatib al-Garnati who played a great role in the affairs of Andalusia.

He was appointed Minister during the reign of Sultan Abu Hajjaj Yusuf I in 749 AH / 1350 CE.

During the reign of Sultan Muhammad al-Faqih (755760 AH / 1354-1359), his personal talents had an effect on his ascension and rank in positions in the Sultanate of Granada.
