There were many personalities who presented their scientific, knowledge, social and political products in the countries of the Maghreb during the first Umayyad era.

Abu al-Arab al-Tamimi al-Qayrawani appeared as an observer of events because he is a part of them and has links to political and social transformations, being the son of an African Emir.

He has an experience that qualifies him to consider the formation of Countries, their orientations and their people, so his personal and scientific biography was of importance because it is a reflection of the reality of the Islamic historical march in the Arab Maghreb.

The important thing is that Abu Al-Arab represented the contradictions of his time in the full sense of the word, and he recorded them in his scientific works and historical writings.
