Abstract EN

This study focuses on a phenomenon in Abo Nuwaas poetry known as tampering, which is defined as conduct ranging from purposeful activities to others prompted by Abo Nuwaas' subconscious and manifested as signs in his poetry.

Three types of absurdity were used to illustrate it.

The first is to deal with alcohol spiritually, even to the point of holiness, as if it had become a substitute for a regular life and a haven for everyday conduct, and the second is to engage with alcohol in a boyish fashion, It also became a substitute for a regular relationship with the woman until the latter became the natural haven that gives him with alternate pleasure, and this concept came as compensation for a life with a woman and it is certainly Abo Nuwas’s feeling of tampering and that tampering is the best solution to uselessness and supports them.

A third is contempt for ruins, mocking those who stand by them and belittling religious beliefs, but this does not amount to a philosophy, but an existential practice.
