Abstract EN

There are many descriptions of believers and unbelievers in Holy Quran, and its methods also vary according to the situation and context.

Once the description comes in an absolute general way and once in a special way to describe a characteristic of a human or one of his senses such as hearing and sight.

Perhaps the most important organ in the human body is the heart which is our focus; we aim to clarify the accuracy of the Quranic expression in choosing of words.

It starts with the significance of heart in the language in noun and verb, then what can come close to that significance in Holy Quran which is the heart, the soul and others.

This thesis is based on two axes: the first is attributes of praise in Holy Quran for believers like faith and humility, the second is attributes of slander for unbelievers like hatred, cruelty and denial of the resurrection
