Abstract EN

This paper seeks to draw a revealing picture of the subject of "philosophy of jurisprudence"; in terms of its concept, its field of knowledge, the motives for its establishment, and the prospects for its development.

my research falls within the fifth question of the first axis of the topic: "the great questions and the stakes of reality, readings in the Islamic perspective." which is the title of the first international scientific conference organized by the college of Islamic sciences at the University of (Di Qar) in the ancient state of Iraq.

the elements of this research consist of an introduction and two chapters a) the first chapter dealt with the concept of the philosophy of jurisprudence, and its field of knowledge.

b) the second specialized in examining the motives for founding, which were limited to three motives: -the first is the motive of contributing to the renewal of Islamic sciences.

-second: being influenced by the claim of renewing the science of assets and upholding the purposes of Sharia.

-third: the desire to invest epistemological research in the science of jurisprudence and principles.

the study concluded with critical notes.

the conclusion dealt with some of the benefits of engaging in the philosophy of Islamic jurisprudence.
