Abstract EN

The socio-cognitive structure of stigmatization is a discovery procedural research attempt that aims to define the content and structure of stigmatization as a social reality, which is reflected in social practice, and as a cognitive concept used to justify such processes.

By investigating and analysis the knowing subject’s (knower’s) discourses of stigma as socio - cognitive structure, and the extraction of the dimensions of this concept, based on the thematic analysis of all projects and summaries which constitute the sample corpus accepted for the conference on: «stigmatization, an interdisciplinary reading».

The conference was held on 89/ February 2019 in Sousse, Tunisia.

The purpose of this study was to extract the fundamental dimensions of stigmatization as a concept and a phenomenon, through the cognitive experience of «knowing subject» as an aspect grounded in this practice, not as an evaluation of researchers and their contributions in the field.
