The importance of this study rises from the high rate of this trend and the gap of knowledge from previous research and studies that did not have enough attention on the behavioral factors related to spinsterhood and delayed marriage from student point of view.

1- Increased awareness about women rights hence reflects its impact on the community.

2- The consequences of the spinsterhood and delayed marriage and its effect on social problems and the development and growth of the community.

3- The beneficial outcome of the study in reaching various solutions to deal with the issue of spinsterhood.
