Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the role of the teachers of physical education in reinforcing the educational values among basic stage students in Gaza governorates from teachers perspectives.

the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach.

the sample of the study was chosen randomly and it was consisted of (100) teachers.

to achieve this, the researcher used a questionnaire consisted of (50) items distributed on (5) domains.

the results of the study showed that the degree of the practice of teachers of physical education in his role in reinforcing the educational value on the total degree for the study was large with (73.74%), while the physical values reached the first rank (78%), then the fine values reached the second rank with (77%), then the social values reached the third rank with (75%), then the moral values reached the fourth rank with ( 73.2%).

and finally the national values reached (72.7%) percentage.

also, there are no statistically significant differences in the means of teachers responses due to the (qualification, years of service) variables.

the researcher recommended the necessity to reconsider the school daily timetable i.e.

to add one more physical education class.
