Abstract EN

This study aimed to know the role of knowledge management to achieve the total quality of the teaching staff at Al-Balqa applied university.

To answer the previous questions, the researchers developed the study tool.

The study population consisted of all teaching staffs totaling (1341), the study sample included (190) teaching staffs.

The study tool was distributed to the sample and they responded it that (163) valid for statistical analysis of (86%) of sample and (12.16%) of population.

The results showed that the achievement of knowledge management through (identification, generating, saving, application, distribution) is medium, and it has a statistically significant.

In addition, the achievement of total quality is medium, but it has not a statistically significant.

In addition to that, the results showed that there are no statistically significant differences attributed to (the gender, the academic rank, the qualification, the experience) at the (α ≥ 0.05) level between the application of knowledge management and the achievement of total quality of the teaching staffs at Al- Balqa Applied University.

The study concluded with the following recommendations: the advancement of management knowledge in all aspects, constant encouragement to cares of it for those with relationship, adoption of the education programs to increase knowledge management at teaching staff, in addition to encourage them by conferences, local and regional training courses, reconsidering with plans of application the total quality at the center and its following colleges, continuous improvement, and keeping up with changes.
