Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the contribution percentage both self-confidence and occupational adjustment to making prediction about the achievement motivation among female teachers in primary schools in Rafah and the West of Khan Younis, identifying the level of achievement motivation, self-confidence.

the researcher applied the scale of achievement motivation, self-confidence and occupational adjustment, which were prepared by the researcher, to a sample of (220) teachers.

the study found that the level of achievement motivation and self-confidence increased among the female teachers according to their estimates of themselves at the hypothetical level by (75%,), while the level of occupational adjustment decreased among them according to their assessment of themselves at the hypothetical level by (75%).

The coefficient of determination of self-confidence (R2 0, 554), the criterion for occupational compatibility (R2 0, 547), is a statistically significant coefficient at (0.01).

this indicates that the areas of the self-confidence scale and the professional compatibility scale contribute to an acceptable degree in predicting the achievement motivation among teachers (55.4 %) and (54.7%) respectively.
