Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the attitude of the students and faculty members of Palestinian technical university Kadoorie towards the computerized exams.

to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used two data collection tools.

the first was a questionnaire consisted of (33) items applied to a random sample of (205) students (96) female, (106) male, and the second was semi-structured interview where (14) faculty members of the Palestine technical university were interviewed.

after the collection of data, it was analyzed by statistical packages of social sciences (SPSS), the study finds that, the attitudes of the students at Palestine technical university Kadoorie towards the computerized exams with average degree (74%), the attitudes of faculty members toward computerized exams with average degree (57.3%), and there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the total score of the students' attitudes toward the computerized exams at the Palestine technical university Kadoorie due to the gender, college and the cumulative average variables.

in light of the results of the study, the researchers was recommended a set of recommendations, such as : make balance of using this type of exams, and add writing tasks that give the students opportunity to write and self-expressions.
