Abstract EN

This study aimed to detect the effectiveness of employing digital stories in developing third grade pupils’ written expression skills in Arabic in Gaza.

to achieve the objectives of the study ,the tow researchers used the semi- experimental approach and constructed digital storytelling, a teacher guide based on digital storytelling, a list of written expression skills for the third grade and written expression skills test.

this study was applied to a sample from the grade three in Abdul Aziz al-Rantissi elementary school for girls where the sample was (43) female pupils.

main results : the presence of statistically significant differences at α≤ 0.05 levels between the two average scores of the experimental female pupils' group in the pre and the post application test in favor of the post application.

study recommendations: employ digital stories in basic stage teaching and conduct studies aim at identifying the difficulties of employing digital stories in teaching.
