Abstract EN

This research aimed at identifying the postgraduate students` attitudes toward evaluation methods used in the Faculty of Education and Arts at the University of Tabuk according to difference in gender and specialization.

The research was applied in the second semester of the academic year 1330-1440.

The researcher used descriptive survey methodology and to achieve the research objective a questionnaire consisting of (57) items divided into three axes was developed to detect the students` attitudes.

The questionnaire was applied to (160) postgraduate students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Tabuk who were chosen using stratified random sampling.

The researcher used (SPSS, AMOS) programs for data analysis.

Research results indicated the postgraduate students attitudes toward evaluation methods used at the University of Tabuk.

The results showed that there are no statistically significant differences attributed to gender, specialization and the academic level.

The most prominent recommendations of the research results are: the Deanship of Graduate Studies at the University of Tabuk should be informed of the research results so that the student feels that he is effective in the evaluation process, conducting evaluative and qualitative studies more in-depth in postgraduate students` views toward evaluation methods that include another factors and disciplines at the university to achieve a fair, objective comprehensive and satisfactory evaluation system that suits the level of the postgraduate students.
