The author started by giving a definition of “insinuation” that commonly co-occurs with the Devil insinuation and paranoia.

These are the two senses used by scholars of Shari’ah, in addition to the excessive use of water in bodily purification or non-confidence in prayers and similar doubts that attack a person in acts of worship.

Sometimes is used for senses denoting madness.

In psychiatry this is called obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The author discussed some similar signs like common whispers, addiction, daily obsessions and madness and the reasons of these signs and symptoms as proposed by specialists.

In Section One, the author thoroughly discussed the ruling of combining prayers for patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder and the related scholarly argument about the condition of combining the prayers.

The second section is dedicated to the ruling of combining prayers for patients with obsessive compulsive disorder, showing the permissibility of the practice after fulfilling five conditions.
