Abstract EN

This paper explores the issues related to the recitation of some verses of the Qur’an in the Eclipse Prayer: The ruling of reciting and repeating surah Al-Fatihah in each rakaah, the ruling of reciting the following surah, names of surahs that are recommended to recite, meaning, condition, and ruling of loud recitation in Eclipse Prayer.

I followed the scholarly methods in preparing the paper used in examining the controversial fiqhi issues.

Therefore, I collected and compared the opinions of scholars about this topic to find the weighted opinion.

I found that reciting surah Al-Fatihah is obligatory before each kneeling in Eclipse Prayer.

Accordingly, surah Al-Fatihah is recited twice per rakaah.

It is also recommended to recite a surah after Al-Fatihah, but if Al-Fatihah is recited alone, the prayer is not vitiated.

The names of surah are not identified by the prophet (pbuh) in Eclipse Prayer.

Loud recitation is also recommended.

This does not contradict the fact that the names of the surahs recited by the prophet have not been identified.

Finally, loudness in the recitation is achieved if the person standing behind the imam hears the Imam’s voice.
