This paper tries to examine the causes of the organizational conflict, its negative and positive consequences together, the ways in which it is handled and how it is managed, It also addresses the causes of conflict at the University of Benghazi, and the most important recommendations proposed for its treatment, which found that organizational conflict causes uncertainty among researchers and practitioners about the true meaning of conflict, What is the best way to face it? Conflict is unavoidable in human life, and it cannot be avoided in the lives of organizations, or even among different Nations, as it is an inherent and inherent part of it.

This paper also showed that conflict occurs in different organizations as a natural consequence of competition for power, patterns of leadership, scarcity of resources, etc.

If conflict is not well managed and in a timely manner, it can lead to lower productivity or services provided.

The paper also noted that conflict can sometimes yield positive results if well managed, and therefore not all conflict situations involve negative aspects.

In addition, much must be done to ensure that the causes of conflict are focused as soon as they are observed.

Finally, the paper concluded that early recognition, adequate attention to and negotiation between the parties involved in the conflict might be an appropriate input to addressing the conflict, while the use of force and threat language might have adverse negative effects on the performance of any organization.
