Abstract EN

This study investigates the phenomenon of poverty in the particularly wealthy country of Iraq, with its human and various natural resources, where it has spread geographically to encompass all cities and whose ramifications have exacerbated socio-economic problems.

The study also looks into the multidimensional indicators of poverty in Iraq between 2015 and 2019, and suggests that it is no longer a temporary or passing economic or social problem but has become a dilemma facing the makers of political, economic and social decisions in the country
