Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the development requirements for technical education in Libya, and that is through analyzing the reality of technical education in Libya, and getting acquainted with the most important international experiences in the field of technical education and the mechanisms for its development in different international environments, this study is considered one of the theoretical studies in which the descriptive method was followed with the use of the documentary approach, the study concluded that technical education in Libya suffers from several difficulties that impede its development, the study showed that technical education requires a political will that is fully convinced of the need to invest in human capital through support and interest in investing in technical education and technical research centers in partnership with the private sector, the study also indicated that it is possible to benefit from the concept of cooperative and bilateral education and to open new technical educational paths that are compatible with the labor market in Libya.
