Abstract EN

The research aims at showing the role played by the strategic information systems in terms of its elements (inputs, processing operations, outputs, and feedback) in achieving the strategy of make-to-order production strategy in the general company of the ready clothes industry in Mosul.

To achieve this aim, the research adopted an assumptive model and selected a sample included (56) individuals represented by the managers of the company, factories, departments, and offices.

The research adopted a questionnaire in obtaining its data in order to illustrate the role provided by the strategic information systems in supporting the (make-to order) production strategy in the researched company.

A statistical technique is used to analyze these answers by using SPSS program .The research attempted to answer a group of questions the most considerable one is: what is the nature of the correlation relationship and effect between each of the strategic information systems in terms of their elements and the strategy of make-to-order production? In light of the results analysis, a group of results have been obtained, that there is a correlation relationship and amoral effect between the strategic information systems in terms of their elements and the strategy of make-to-order strategy According to the conclusions that concluded ,a group of suggestion one presented that consistent to them .
