Aourney is to be in contact with people and nations, a source of describing uman cultures, and watching the ways of daily life of a society in terms of being related to individuals and nations life.

The subject of the Qudy is Cairo in the journey of al-'Abdari, a social critic and traveler who passed through Egypt during the Mamluk period and left a journey entitled "The Moroccan Journey", which was characterized by an important aspect of Egypt's economic, social, political and even religious hiQory.

The Study will talk about Cairo in the views of al-Abdari from the side that al-'Abdari saw.

and perhaps a contribution in Egypt's social history during the Mamluks.

The first purpose of al- 'Abderi journey was to pilgrimage and second to ask for science, which allowed him to see many countries, through which he was exposed to many positions that are subject to personal opinions, but he always highlighted the bad side in his views in Egypt in the era ofthe Mamluk sultans.
