In recent decades, interest has increased in the positive aspects of human behavior, including optimism, Many studies have sought to examine the relationship between optimism in terms of being a personal trait, organization or disposition and Psychological, Social, Physical, Behavioral Variables.

The current study attempts to reveal the nature of the relationship between this concept as a structured and cognitive approach to the health behaviors adopted by breast cancer patients.

The current sample consisted of 30 breast cancer patients by using the Life orientation scale (Scheier and Carver, 1985) and a measure of health behavior (Sami al-Khatatna, 2011).

The results of the study showed a statistically significant correlation between dispositional optimism and health behaviors among breast cancer patients
