Abstract EN

The current research consists of four chapters.

The first chapter deals with the problem of research, which is summarized in the following question: What are the aesthetics of lithography in modern European art, as well as the importance of research and its need? The objective of the research is to reveal the aesthetics of lithography technology in the products of modern European art, And terminology definition.

The second chapter included two topics: First: The emergence and development of the arts of printing and the second topic: the art of printing in the era of modernity, as well as the indicators that ended the research.

The third chapter deals with the research procedures represented by the research, the research sample, the research methodology, and the analysis of five models of lithographic productions in modern European art.

The fourth chapter included the results of the research, the most important of which: - Many modernists have benefited from lithography techniques with the characteristics of speed in achievement ,simplification and reduction, and the multiplicity of copies to provide printing works bearing the features of modernization in the artwork.

- The lithography techniques of the modern artist allowed the introduction of different design treatments, adding to the artistic work artistic and aesthetic dimensions in line with modernist thought and taste in European art.

The most important conclusions are: - The techniques of lithography came into all directions of modern art, from Impressionism to Cubism, Surrealism and abstract art, and the most famous artists worked in these great artistic trends.
