Abstract EN

This study aims at finding out the status of planning for risk management in private schools in Karak governorate from the perspective of teachers.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive-survey methodology is used.

The tool of the study is developed and its validity and reliability are verified.

It is distributed to a random sample of (272) female and male teachers in private schools in Karak governorate.

The study concludes with several results, the most important of which are: the status of planning for risk management in private schools in Karak governorate from teachers’ point of view is of medium level.

The field of decision-making, and addressing risk, capacity is of the highest level.

The last level is the awareness of the nature of risk in school, which is of a medium level.

The results also show that there are no statistical significant differences in the means of the total score of the status of planning for risk management in private schools in Karak governorate from teachers’ point of view attributed to school level and experience.
