Abstract EN

This research is about studying (Form and content in Salam Ahmed pottery) )Exhibition 7102(, the research falls into four chapters.

The first chapter explain the problem of research and the need for it, its importance, objectives and limits, and defining the most important terms contained in it.

The research problem deals with the form and content and their relationship to the method of the artistic work.

The chapter also contains the aim of the research: Learn about the shape and content of Salam Ahmad pottery, and the importance of the research was evident in that it represents a new inauguration within the area of Iraqi potters.

The limits of the research were limited by studying the form and content of Salam Ahmad pottery for the year (7102) in Baghdad.

Also reviewing the most important terms contained in the research, defining them and discussing their definition.

The second chapter included the theoretical framework (and it included three sections) and the previous studies.

The first topic dealt with (the relationship of form and content) and the second dealt with (features of style among contemporary Iraqi potters).

As for the third topic, it dealt with the artistic experience of Salam Ahmad and included his beginnings, his contributions, his life and how to create his works in which he dealt with form and content.

The third chapter dealt with the research procedures that included the research community of (09) pottery works, the research sample, the research methodology, the research tool.

The fourth chapter included the main findings and conclusions of the current research.

The researcher came to a number of conclusions based on the analysis of samples, in addition to the theoretical framework as follows: 0 The shapes represented dominant structures in the research samples and thus formed a stylistic feature, including the spherical shape that dominated the artist's works.

7 The artist's pottery is characterized by a unique way that belongs to him, and is dominated by earthy colors, with its texture.

Conclusions: 0 Repetition and the spherical shape represent stylistic signals through which artist Salam Ahmed moves from one idea to another and from one style to another, and the methods underlying these transitions determine the depth of the structural and technical treatment.
