Abstract EN

The research entitled (The relationship of theoretical knowledge of the subject of technical anatomy with a drawing of the human head) dealt with the impact of the study of the technical anatomy curriculum on the quality of students' performance in portrait planning.

The research contained four chapters.

The first chapter concerned with the research problem, which was represented by a question about the ability of the anatomy material to teach to improve the level of skill performance.

To draw portraits and the student's ability to project theoretical knowledge of the subject of technical anatomy on the applied achievement in his field of specialization.

As for the aim of the research, it is to verify a hypothesis that has no statistically significant relationship at the level (0.05) between theoretical knowledge in the subject of technical anatomy and the practical performance of drawing the human head.

Artistic drawing of the human head and spatial boundaries: Students of the Faculty of Fine Arts / Babylon / Third Grade / Branch of Painting - the first semester and the temporal boundaries: the academic year (2016-2017).

The theoretical framework was divided into two topics.

Anatomy in artistic achievement As for the third topic, it dealt with research procedures and building the tool to verify the hypothesis of the research.

The fourth chapter was devoted to results, conclusions, recommendations and proposals.

One of the most important results of the research was: that the methodological material of artistic anatomy lacks the use of standard educational methods and techniques such as pictograms in large sizes or an attempt to inform the student On the preliminary studies of major artists, and this is reflected in the taking of the practical material of anatomy in a way that is closer to science than to art.
