Historical novels about follow-up and accounting Omar bin Al-Kattab his worker in Al- Iqd Al-Farid book Literature books abound with a lot of historical news and novels,These books are an important source of history study, and among these books is the book of Al-Iqd Al-Farid of Ibn Abd Rabbuh Al-Andalusi, which contained many historical news in the various origins of history until the death of the author.

The research deals with historical novels concerning the follow-up and accountability of the caliph Al-Rashid Omar bin Al-Khattab to his workers, which is a prophetic method that Omar bin Al-Khattab walked upon following the example of humankind, our Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.

The research showed the way that Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, followed in the follow-up and accountability, including his counting of his workers ’money before their use, and preventing them from carrying out any work other than what he entrusted to them, in addition to their pledge of advice and guidance, and asking about their conditions and the conditions of their care continuously.

The research methodology is summarized in collecting the novels that talked about this aspect of the book “Al-Iqd Al-Farid”, comparing it with what was mentioned in other sources, and commenting on some of the novels that Ibn Abd Rabbu indulged in transfer them, the research was known by famous people and places mentioned among the research.

The research began with a brief translation of Ibn Abd Rabbo and the opinion of the scholars and their sayings about him and his book.

The research showed the method followed by Ibn Abd Rabbo in his book through the chosen novels.

The research concluded with an indication of the importance of literature books, and the necessity of subjecting the novels that mentioned among them to investigation, criticism, comparison and refining them from weak novels.

The research recommended further study of these books, which are considered a tributary of history studies
