Abstract EN

The research deals with the impact of foreign debts on eco- nomic development in Sudan, where the problem was to deter- mine the effect of foreign debts on economic development in Sudan, and the importance of this research stems from knowing the basic causes of external debts and knowing their impact on the disparity of slocks and then methods of treatment through analysis and knowledge of procedures What is new facing the crisis, the aim of the research is to identify the impact of foreign debt on economic development and then to know its causes.

The research assumed that there is a Statistically significant relation- ship between foreign debt and a number of variables, the most important of which arc: (unemployment rate, growth rate, national income and inflation) The research concluded with a number of results, the mo& important of which are: (The existence of a di- rect relationship between foreign debt and national income, and an inverse relationship between unemployment, inflation and the rate of growth).

The researcher recommended a periodic review of the external debts that are contracted and then maintaining the payment dates to avoid the issue of Entering into more crises, and then enacting deterrent laws through which to limit the flow of money abroad..
