Abstract EN

The study aimed to investigate the attitudes of students towards blended learning as well as the difficulties facing its implementation in the Arabic Open University at Saudi Arabia and the differences according to several variables.

A questionnaire was administrated after checking validity and reliability within (33) items on a random sample of (1197) students from the Arabic Open University in the educational regions (Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina, Dammam, Al-Ahsa, and Hail).

The results of the study showed that: the students ’attitudes towards blended learning were in a high level with a mean of (3.46).

Also, it showed that there are no significant statistical differences in students’ attitudes towards blended learning attributed to: gender, school year, and region, while there were differences according to gender variable.

The difficulties facing blended learning came in a high level, with a mean of (3.43), and there were no significant statistical differences regarding the difficulties faced by students in blended learning in the Arab Open University in Saudi Arabia attributed to gender, the academic year, and age, while there were differences according to the region in favor of Al-Ahsa district.
