Abstract EN

The research aimed to measure the feeling of happiness among university students and to know the significance of the differences between males and females, and the significance of the differences in specialization (scientific – human( Which was prepared by Argyle and Hills (2001), and the researcher found its validity and reliability, and then it was applied to a sample of (120) male and female students from the College of Education at Al-Mustansiriya University, and after data collection and statistical analysis by means of the statistical bag (Spss), the following results were reached: .

1.

University students have a feeling of happiness that is higher than the hypothetical average.

2.

There are differences between (males and females) on the scale of feeling happy and in favor of males.

3.There are no differences according to the variable of specialization (scientific – human).

The researcher came out with recommendations and suggestions.
