This study aims at the pathology of the Arabic translation of the novel " GawKhoni ", a famous Persian novel written by Jaafar Modarres Sadeghi in 1983 and translated into Arabic by Ghassan Hamdan, an Iraqi writer and translator in (2015) under the title " AL- Mustanqae ".

Methodologically, the study follows the descriptive-analytical study, and theoretically depends on the principle of grammatical equivalence in translation.
