Abstract EN

The research aims to use the decorative aesthetics of the flower of life in enriching the decorative design of girls' casual.

It creates new decorative designs using various techniques of decorations such as laser engraving, applique, and crochet.

The current study is to identify the rules and foundations for the construction of the flower of life and its decorative features in ancient civilizations.

However, it is a historical decoration associated with the history of many cultures of ancient peoples.

The youth are very suitable tools in spreading of new ideas and innovations.

They are full of movement, vitality and activity.

One of the most important results of this study is the implementation of three decorative designs inspired by the flower of life for three models of girls' clothes (Tunic, Blouse, Gnola).

A sample of 15 specialists of the faculty members in clothing department, Faculty of Home Economics, Helwan University.

Another sample of 75 women who are aged (18: 35) years has answer through a questionnaire.

The results of this study led to the acceptance of the decorative designs provided by the research sample of specialists and consumers and also to provide a new quality of decoration (flower life) was not known before to enrich the aesthetic and functional aspects for girls' clothes.

Our recommendation is to carry out more specialized studies in the field of decorations of ancient civilizations to learn about their features more realistically through the decoration of clothing, in addition to encouraging researchers to conduct more studies and modern scientific applications in the field of decoration and the manufacture of casual clothes for youth people.
