The aim of this research is to manifest the major foundations upon which Ibn Ashour based his educational approach that reflects his proper reformist vision of the educational system.
The importance of this research lies in the usefulness of the educational methodology and its place in the teaching process, which imposes the need to pay attention to the continuous development of the methodology as an effective means of achieving the goals of education and teaching.
To reach the objectives, this paper adopts descriptive and inductive methods to address educational foundations of Imam Ibn Ashour in his work that is thoroughly examined, particularly the book entitled: «Alisa Sobh Bi Qarib» «isn't the morning near?» The researcher concludes that education, for Ibn Ashour, is based on objective vision.
That is, he investigates the educational issues with a common vision of purposes and priorities based on fundamental ethical values related to a special approach of thinking through which he worked to achieve the attainment of educational purposes; from consolidating the values of faith and deepening the thinking skills of human.
It also finds that viewing, thinking, and meditating are the basic elements to succeed in the theoretical and practical fields.
