Abstract EN

The interest in the study and interpretation of the Holy Qur'an was one of the main concerns of Muslim scholars over the centuries that followed its revelation, as books that explored several aspects of the Qur'an appeared; some of which conducted re search on the secrets of the Quranic miracle while some others on multiple recitations.

Perhaps four Quran interpreters such as Ibn Atiya, Ibn Arabi, Ezzamakhshari and Elba-ghaoui were born on the sixth century AH each of whom represents an independent school.

The interest of Andalusians in the Holy Qur'an has resulted in the emergence of scholars who were pioneers at interpretating Quran to the extent that their interpretations became the most famous ones worldwide such as the case of "Al Muharar Al Wajiz" for his author "Ibn Atiyah al-Andalusi".

The latter engagement in interpretation, however, did not prevent him from caring for other issues that his book contained and which his reputation in interpretation blocked out, the core objective of this study, especially article of faith.

Therefore, it will first tackle article of faith's judgments concept before we discuss Ibn Attiya's doctrinal method.

Evidence and explanation, then, are provided to refuting the idea of being secluded that he was accused of by some scholars.

The research is equally an opportunity to find out the most important doctrinal sources concluded from his work.

All in all, this piece of research aims, first and foremost, to highlight the purity of Ibn Attiya's doctrine as attested by his compilations as well as explain a set of doctrinal provisions that his brief book of interpretation includes.
