Abstract EN

This study aims at identifying the degree of contribution of the technical college project in Zarqa University in promoting and developing vocational education as perceived by faculty members and students in Zarqa University.

The population of the study consisted of (2850) faculty members and students in the scientific colleges in the university.

The randomly selected sample of the study consisted of (334) faculty members and students, (154) males and (180) females.

The study was carried out in the first semester of the academic year (2018-2019).

The survey method was used for conducting this study.

In order to achieve the aims of this study, the researchers designed a 23-item questionnaire.

The results of the study indicated high degree of contribution of the technical college project in Zarqa University in promoting and development of vocational education.

There were no statistically significant differences in the responses of the sample due to their gender or profession.

The study recommended the addition of other technical specializations in the college to meet the requirements of the society and the labor market.
