Abstract EN

So this study aimed to know: The level of role confusion of the students of Duhok University and Signiflcant differences in for that According to the following variables gender and specialization and stage.

And Level of aspiration (academic-vocational) of the students of Duhok University and The relationship between the role confusion and the level of aspiration.

A graded sample from (1500) students out of which (782) were males and (718) were females was randomly chosen from (7) colleges from year for the academic year 2006-2007.

The study required the set up of a scale to measure the role confusion which fits the requirements of the study and the nature of the sample and measure the academic and vocational levels of aspiration which is the scale of Al- Jiboory (2002).

After the data have been statistically, the following results have shown that: 1-The level of role confusion of the students of Duhok University is high 2-There is a statistical difference in role confusion according to the variable of sex (male & female) in favor of the females.

The study also has shown that there is no statistical difference according to the variables of specialization (scientific & humanitarian) and stage (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4>h).

3-There is a rise in the academic and vocational levels of the students of Duhok University 4-There is no statistical relationship between role confusion and the academic and vocational levels of aspiration.

In the light of the results arrived at, some recommendations and suggestions have been presented.
