The research aims at identifying to what extent mobile phones contribute to explain and enhance academic attainment for secondary school students.

It also aims at identifying to what extent students use this technology in learning process.

The significance of the research comes from the importance of using modern technology, particularly the technology of mobile phones in education.

Mobile phones contribute to rapidly getting the information across to the students at any time.

The researcher adopts the descriptive analytical method, sample, which is 200 people, is intentionally selected from the original research population.

A questionnaire is used to collect data related to the research.

The research comes up with several results and findings, such as: the research reveals that the mobile phones apps contribute to enhance the students’ academic attainment.

The study proves that mobile phones apps can be used in digital syllabus design and put in one electronic platform in an educational institution available for students.

The study has several recommendations, such as: necessity of using school, university and even public libraries for digital use through mobile phones.

The research recommends, the necessity of involving distance learning programs with the syllabus for ultimate use of mobile phones’ potentialities in education
