This study discussed the reality of the competencies of faculty members of the principles of education at prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University from the viewpoint of female university students, to be aimed at knowing the reality of the competencies of members of the faculty of pedagogy of education ; through knowledge of the reality of competencies (educational competencies, personal competencies, university and community service competencies, scientific research competencies), the researcher used the descriptive method in her study, where the questionnaire was applied to the study community represented by prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University students, by selecting a random sample of her female students, it was estimated that they numbered 331.

and using the statistical analysis of the study, the most important results of the study were that it showed the availability of educational competencies for members of the teaching staff of education and a high degree, in general, with an average of (3.95 out of 5.00) and these advantages were to enhance the positive trends of the country for female students, and it was clear from the results of the second question the availability of the level of personal competencies for members and with a high degree in general, with an average of (4.19 out of 5.00), and the most prominent competencies were represented in a positive communication with female students, and from the results of the third question, it became clear that these competencies are available to members in a high degree in general, and with an average of ( 3.89 out of 5.00), and the most prominent of these competencies is the encouragement of female students to volunteer work, as shown by the results of the fourth question of the available study, the competencies of faculty members of pedagogy in scientific research and a degree (high) in general with an average of (3.82 from 5.00), and the most prominent these competencies encourage female students to do research projects.

the study recommended to determine the needs of the faculty members in light of the modern orientations of the educational work, while setting specific standards for the levels of educational competencies necessary for the faculty members, and the necessity of conducting more studies and research to measure and develop the teaching competencies of the faculty members, in other disciplines.
